Dubai set for 200,000 square feet of Bloomingdale’s
Shopaholics will no doubt be delighted to hear reports from Reuters that Macy’s Inc will open two Bloomingdale’s stores in Dubai in early 2010. These will be the first Bloomingdale’s to open overseas.
Both stores will be located in the new Dubai Mall, scheduled to open later this year.
The upmarket department store chain will have one three floor, 146,000 square feet outlet selling clothing and accessories, and another single floor 54,000 square feet shop selling products for the home.
