Kylie’s US $4m Dubai date
Kylie Minogue will receive a reported four million US Dollars for playing two late November concerts in Dubai, reports The Guardian.
She joins the likes of Aerosmith and Destiny’s Child who have also been been ‘shown the money’ in exchange for performing in the emirate.
The first performance, on November 20th, is a private concert in front of the Dubai royal family and 2,000 guests which is part of the US $35m gala opening of the Atlantis resort. The resort itself will actually open on September 24th, despite a fire two weeks ago that destroyed the roof to the lobby of the 1,539 room behemoth.
The second performance at Festival City a day later, will be open to the public. 20,000 tickets go on sale on September 24th and are expected to sell out on the same day.
