Dubai Rugby Sevens countdown to kick off
There are only ten days to the 39th Emirates Airline Dubai Sevens.
Featuring sixteen of the best Sevens teams in the world, including defending champions New Zealand, this entertaining event will be held for the first time at a brand new purpose built 40,000 seater stadium, the aptly named ‘The Sevens’.
The family friendly tournament also features all the usual glitz – cheerleaders, a terrible mascot and a rugby rock concert – a far cry from its origins as a pleasant way for a few fat British expats to lose a few pounds.
